Guadalajara International Airport

Tlajomulco, Mexico (GAP)

Coordination and As-Built of the electrical system

Model of the circular parking structure at Guadalajara International Airport

The project

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP) needed the electrical system of the circular parking structure documented in enough detail to operate and maintain it, not just to build it. The model had to grow at the pace of the works.

We modeled and coordinated the medium- and low-voltage electrical installation, adapting the model alongside execution as adjustments were resolved on site. Verification relied on OpenSpace virtual walkthroughs, which let us compare the model against what was actually installed without extra site visits.

All information exchange was managed in Autodesk Construction Cloud. The work was developed together with Torvi Electric, and the final deliverable was oriented to the infrastructure’s future maintenance.

Result

Coordination and As-Built modeling of the medium- and low-voltage electrical system of the circular parking structure. We adapted the model alongside construction, expanding information and detail for the future maintenance of Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP). On-site verification and virtual walkthroughs with OpenSpace. With Torvi Electric.
