Engineering Design
Here lies the difference between coordinating and engineering. Many BIM firms only integrate what others designed; we also develop whichever disciplines are missing, inside the same federated model and under the same coordination criteria.
We cover architecture, structure, HVAC, electrical, fire protection, gas, storm drainage, sanitary, water supply, CCTV, voice and data, access control and special systems. Each one is engineered with its calculations and design criteria, and integrated into the whole as it progresses.
When designers are already assigned to some disciplines, we take on the missing ones and coordinate the rest. That’s how we worked at Polesa Zinc: our own architectural design, coordination of third-party structural, HVAC, water and sanitary engineering, and detection of the steel profile reinforcements needed to support the office area.
The result is a project without gaps in responsibility, where no discipline is left to the installer’s interpretation on site.
